Domaine des Sybelles: wake up on the ski-slopes
Skis and a chair-lift are the only means to reach the chalet, at an altitude of 1,400 metres, at the heart of the Sybelles massif (310 km – about 190 miles- of trails). A stack of firewood, a fire place, one bedroom and a little dormitory under the wooden roof… The ideal place for the whole family – or tribe - where you can admire the snow-covered vista over breakfast.

Montsapey: appreciate an exhilarating Scandinavian bath
The Relais du Lac noir, a charming guest house in the valley, has introduced an innovative pastime, the Scandinavian bath. Indulge yourself: a dive into hot steaming water (40°C – about 104°F!) followed by a roll in the beckoning snow… Christophe Perny’s cuisine is of the refined variety. His specialities include knuckle of lamb, glazed for 4 hours in mountain honey. All three beautiful bedrooms bear the name of the three daughters of the house.
