summer events
A festival beneath the mountain starlight – an event which can only be experienced in the Haute Maurienne! Since 1985, Bramans, Sollieres-Sardieres, Termignon la Vanoise, Val-Cenis-Lanslebourg, Val-Cenis-Lanslevillard, Bessans and Bonneval-sur-Arc have united for the cause. This group of villages, always eager to celebrate the exceptional purity of the sky at high altitudes, has organised numerous events, including observation nights at the Col du Mont Cenis mountain pass (2,081 m) and at the Iseran mountain pass (2,764 m). These sites offer breathtakingly beautiful night sky shows.

Literary meeting
The literary meeting takes place on the highly symbolic site of the Mont-Cenis pass, "the age-old gateway to the Alps", the link from time immemorial to neighbouring Piedmont. Over a weekend fifty French and Italian writers from the Alpine arc make their work known and exchange their views on mountain literature.
