nordic pastimes

No longer do you need to be from Lapland or a true Canadian trapper to appreciate the simple pleasures of snow or play explorer, striking your way through the ice with your stick. Snowshoes or cross country skis, those ancient means of locomotion, have certainly evolved over the last 4,000 years. With them you can effortlessly glide amongst conifers and across immense, immaculate plateaux or snowshoe across the pristine white powder, rediscovering the pleasure of virgin snow, pure mountain air and breathtaking views.
