Like the railway tracks, the Maurienne autoroute, or highway, follows the natural corridor of the Arc river valley. The planning and development of this valley demonstrate the local environmental and aesthetic commitment to integrating architecture into the natural setting. Resorts are located at least 30 minutes from the highway interchanges.

Autoroute A43 from Lyon and Chambéry. All mountain resorts are at least 120 km from Chambéry by car.

• Autoroute A32 coming from Turin, via the Fréjus tunnel on the motorway (12.87 km long).

• TGV (French high-speed trains): Regular lines
